The Dragon Daoyin workshop is a series of exercises taught by Master Shen Jin from October 17th to 19th, 2026. The Dragon Daoyin exercises are part of the BuQi training . They take place in the first part of the BuQi training to open the body, activating the dantian (the energy center in Chinese tradition), and cleansing it of BinQi (toxins). The power of spiraling energy leads to the release of tension, relaxation of the body, and a deeper understanding of the flow of internal energy. The body becomes supple like a dragon's! Each daoyin can be practiced independently; they are particularly effective for initiating the practice, as they activate the dantian and loosen the body.
The nine movements that make up the Dragon Daoyin are very powerful on a physical level. They also act on opening the energy channels, such as the central channel (Zhong Mai). They activate the three dantians: the lower dantian (in the abdomen), the middle dantian (in the middle of the chest), and the upper dantian (between the eyebrows). This is why the practice is performed between meditation sessions. One feels a great calm, like the dragon returning to its cave.
Master Shen Jin has chosen to enhance these meditation sessions: two half-days will frame the practice of the nine Dragon Daoyin. This Dragon Daoyin workshop will therefore also be a way to experience the benefits of the practice on all levels, body and mind. Indeed, one might think that these nine Daoyin are simply physical. But it is important to understand that what makes the BuQi system and Master Shen Jin's teaching unique is the path to achieving unity.
